Possible Causes

Leaking door gasket, Loose or cracked drain hose, Leaking tub-to-pump hose, Faulty inlet valve or dispenser hose leaking into base

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the water supply taps. Water in the base can contact live parts.

  • Step 1 – Tilt and drain base: Carefully tilt the machine slightly backward (with assistance) to allow water to drain from the base tray onto towels. This may temporarily clear the E13 code but does not fix the leak.
  • Step 2 – Remove front or rear panel: Access the base area and locate the float switch. Ensure it moves freely and is not stuck by debris.
  • Step 3 – Identify leak source: Inspect the door gasket, tub-to-pump hose, drain pump, and all visible hoses for drips or water marks. Check the detergent dispenser and inlet hoses for slow leaks during a fill test (briefly power on under supervision).
  • Step 4 – Replace faulty component: Tighten hose clamps, replace cracked hoses, or fit a new door gasket if torn. Ensure all joints are dry and secure before reassembling.

Do not continue using the machine with an active leak; unresolved leaks can cause electrical hazards and further damage.
