Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before removing the control panel.
- Step 1 – Dry and reset: If the panel has been exposed to steam or splashes, allow it to dry completely. Unplug the machine for 10–15 minutes, then reconnect and test.
- Step 2 – Inspect control fascia: Remove the top cover and gently release the control panel. Check the ribbon cable between the panel and main PCB for damage or loose connections. Reseat both ends.
- Step 3 – Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually to ensure it moves freely and returns. Clean around buttons to remove detergent residue.
If E14 persists and visual inspection shows no obvious damage, the user interface PCB may need replacement. This should be done with the correct Gram part to ensure compatibility.
