• Step 1 – Clean pump filter: Open the pump access flap, unscrew the filter, and remove debris. Check the pump impeller for free movement.
• Step 2 – Inspect tub-to-pump hose: From the front or bottom, locate the large hose between the tub and pump. Remove the clamp and check for socks or other obstructions. Refit securely.
• Step 3 – Check external drain hose: Ensure the hose is not kinked and is installed at the correct height to prevent siphoning. Clean any blockage at the standpipe or sink connection.
• Step 4 – Evaluate pump performance: Run a drain-only cycle and observe the flow from the drain hose. A weak or intermittent flow may indicate a failing pump that should be replaced.
