Possible Causes
Unstable mains voltage, Loose mains terminal block inside machine, Faulty mains interference filter, Defective power supply section of main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off and unplug the appliance. Do not work on live mains connections.
- Step 1 – Check wall outlet: Test the outlet with another appliance to ensure stable power. Avoid using extension leads.
- Step 2 – Inspect mains cable and terminal block: Remove the rear cover near the cable entry. Check that the live, neutral, and earth wires are firmly secured in the terminal block and show no signs of overheating.
- Step 3 – Check mains filter: Locate the mains interference filter (EMI filter) and inspect for bulging, burning, or loose connectors. Replace if damaged.
If E20 persists and external power is stable, the internal power supply on the main PCB may be faulty and should be serviced by a professional.
