How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before tipping or moving it.
- Step 1 – Check shipping bolts: If the machine is newly installed, ensure all rear shipping bolts have been removed according to the Gram installation manual.
- Step 2 – Level the machine: Adjust the front feet so the washer-dryer is stable and does not rock. Use a spirit level if available.
- Step 3 – Inspect dampers: Remove the rear or front panel and examine the shock absorbers attached to the tub. If they are oily, loose, or offer little resistance when moved by hand, replace them in pairs.
- Step 4 – Check springs: Inspect the top suspension springs for stretching or damage. Replace if deformed or broken.
After repairs, run a spin with a balanced load to confirm vibration is reduced.
