Possible Causes
Cracked drain hose, Loose hose clamp on tub-to-pump hose, Leaking drain pump housing, Damaged plastic sump or tub outlet
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps. Expect water in the base when opening panels.
- Step 1 – Inspect external drain hose: Pull the machine forward and check the rear drain hose for splits, abrasions, or loose connections at both the pump and standpipe/sink.
- Step 2 – Check internal hoses: Remove the rear or front lower panel. Run a short fill and drain cycle while observing (use a torch) to see where water drips from.
- Step 3 – Tighten or replace: Tighten hose clamps on the tub-to-pump hose and pump outlet. Replace any cracked hoses or a leaking pump body with Gram-compatible parts.
Dry the base thoroughly and test again to confirm the leak is resolved.
