Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before accessing the dryer section.

• Clean lint filters and ducts: Remove and clean the lint filter (if equipped). Access the internal air duct (rear or side, model dependent) and vacuum out lint and debris that may block airflow.
• Listen for fan operation: Start a drying cycle and listen for the fan/blower running. If silent, stop the cycle and unplug the unit.
• Inspect fan motor and wiring: Remove the top and rear panels to locate the dryer fan motor. Check for loose connectors, burned wires, or a seized fan wheel. Ensure the fan spins freely by hand.
• Test fan motor: Use a multimeter to check motor winding resistance. An open circuit indicates a failed motor that must be replaced.
• Call a technician: If the fan motor is good but not receiving power, the main PCB dryer circuit may be defective and should be serviced by a professional.
