How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit before internal inspection. Do not reach into a spinning drum.
- Check for standing water: If water remains in the drum, resolve drainage issues first (see E2-related steps).
- Redistribute load: Open the door, redistribute laundry evenly, and remove some items if the drum is overfilled. Run a spin-only cycle.
- Listen for motor operation: During spin, listen for the motor. A humming sound without rotation may indicate a jammed drum or failing motor.
- Inspect drive belt (if applicable): Remove the rear panel and check if the belt is broken or slipped off the pulley. Refit or replace as needed.
- Call a technician: If the belt is intact and the motor does not run or spins erratically, professional diagnosis of the motor and PCB is recommended.
