Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter or condenser, Restricted airflow in ducts, Failed dryer heater element, Faulty dryer moisture or temperature sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning or inspection.
- Clean lint filter and condenser: Remove and clean the lint filter after every drying cycle. If equipped with a condenser, remove and rinse it thoroughly.
- Check load size: Do not overload; Haier combos typically dry smaller loads than they wash. Dry half-loads for best results.
- Inspect ducts and fan: Access internal ducts and the fan to remove lint buildup that restricts airflow.
- Test heater and sensors: If airflow is good but drying is still poor, the heater or NTC sensor may be faulty (see E13/E14). Replace as needed.
- Call a technician: Persistent poor drying after cleaning and basic checks may indicate a control or sensor calibration issue requiring professional tools.
