Possible Causes
Failed Hisense dryer heating element, Open thermal fuse or high-limit thermostat, Blocked condenser or lint pathways, Faulty dryer temperature sensor (NTC)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before accessing the dryer section.
- Clean lint and condenser: Remove and clean the lint filter thoroughly. If your Hisense combo has a user-accessible condenser, remove it and rinse under running water to clear lint and scale. Ensure all air paths are clear.
- Check load size: Do not exceed the specified drying capacity (usually lower than wash capacity). Overloading can cause poor drying and error codes.
- Access heater (advanced): Remove the rear panel or top cover (depending on model) to locate the dryer heater housing. Inspect wiring and connectors for burns or loose connections.
- Test heater and safety devices: With a multimeter, check continuity of the dryer heating element, thermal fuse, and high-limit thermostat. Replace any open components with OEM Hisense parts.
- Temperature sensor: If heater and fuses are good, test the dryer NTC sensor for correct resistance. Replace if out of specification.
If you are not comfortable working around heating components, contact a qualified technician.
