Possible Causes
Clogged lint filter or condenser, Blocked internal air ducts in Hisense combo, Faulty moisture sensor bars, Defective dryer fan motor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing panels or internal components.
- Clean user-accessible parts: Remove and clean the lint filter after every cycle. If equipped, remove the condenser unit and rinse thoroughly to remove lint and scale.
- Check airflow: Ensure the front and rear vents of the Hisense combo are not blocked by cabinets or objects. The unit needs adequate ventilation.
- Inspect moisture sensor bars: Inside the drum, locate the metal moisture sensor strips (usually near the door opening). Clean them with a soft cloth and mild detergent to remove fabric softener residue that can interfere with sensing.
- Advanced airflow check: Remove the rear panel and inspect the dryer fan housing and ducts for lint buildup. Clean carefully with a vacuum and brush. Spin the fan by hand to ensure it moves freely.
- Fan motor test: If the fan does not run during drying, the Hisense dryer fan motor may be faulty and should be replaced.
