Possible Causes
Failed Hisense wash NTC sensor, Loose or corroded NTC connector, Damaged wiring harness to NTC, Main PCB misreading sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and allow any hot water to cool before working near the tub.
- Access NTC sensor: Remove the rear panel. The wash NTC sensor is usually mounted in the heater bracket at the bottom of the tub.
- Inspect connection: Check the NTC connector for corrosion, moisture, or looseness. Clean and reseat the connector.
- Test NTC: With a multimeter, measure resistance at room temperature (commonly 20–30 kΩ). Warm the sensor slightly and confirm resistance decreases smoothly. If open, shorted, or erratic, replace the Hisense wash NTC sensor.
- Wiring and PCB: If the sensor tests good, inspect the wiring harness back to the main PCB. If wiring is intact, the PCB may be faulty and require professional replacement.
