Washer-dryer shows E16 and may stop, often related to drain during drying or condenser system

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing internal components. Water may spill when hoses are removed.

• Clean condenser: If your Hisense combo has a removable condenser, take it out and rinse thoroughly to remove lint and scale. Ensure all fins and channels are clear.
• Check internal drain paths: Access the lower front or rear area to locate the small pump or siphon that removes condenser water. Inspect hoses for kinks or blockages and clear them.
• Inspect condenser pump (if fitted): Check for obstructions in the pump housing and ensure the impeller spins freely. If the pump does not run during drying, it may be faulty and require replacement.
• Test after cleaning: Reassemble and run a short drying cycle. If E16 persists, a Hisense service technician should diagnose the condenser system and control board.
