Low Water Pressure / Slow Fill Detection
Washer-dryer displays E17, often associated with low water pressure or slow fill
Advertisements
Possible Causes
Partially closed water tap, Clogged inlet filters at Hisense valve, Long or restricted inlet hoses, Failing water inlet valve coil
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off water supply and unplug the unit before disconnecting hoses.
- Verify water pressure: Open a nearby faucet to confirm strong water flow. If household pressure is low, contact your water supplier.
- Check taps and hoses: Ensure taps are fully open. Inspect hoses for kinks or restrictions. Replace old or internally collapsed hoses.
- Clean inlet filters: Remove hoses from the Hisense water inlet valve and clean the mesh filters as described for E1.
- Test fill: Reconnect and run a quick wash. If fill remains slow and E17 reappears, the inlet valve may be weak and should be replaced.
