Safety first: Never bypass the door lock or operate the machine with the door open.

• Check door closure: Ensure the door closes firmly and evenly. Adjust the machine leveling if the door is misaligned.
• Inspect gasket and latch: Look for damage to the door gasket or latch that might prevent full closure. Replace damaged parts.
• Test door lock: Start a cycle and gently press on the door. If E21 disappears or reappears with movement, the lock or latch is likely worn. Replace the Hisense door lock assembly.
• Wiring check: With power off, inspect the wiring harness to the door lock for loose connections or damage.
