Possible Causes
Blocked air trap or pressure hose, Disconnected or cracked pressure hose, Faulty Hisense water level (pressure) sensor, Wiring fault between sensor and main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and ensure the drum is drained before removing hoses.
- Check for over-sudsing: Excess foam from non-HE detergent can confuse the pressure sensor. Run a rinse and spin with no detergent to clear suds.
- Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover. Locate the small rubber hose running from the tub air chamber to the pressure sensor. Check for kinks, cracks, or disconnection. Reattach or replace if damaged.
- Clean air trap: At the tub end, the hose connects to an air chamber. Detach and clean out any lint, sludge, or detergent buildup that could block air flow.
- Test the sensor (advanced): With power off, disconnect the sensor connector and check for corrosion. If you have a multimeter and the service manual, verify sensor output changes with applied pressure. If not within spec, replace the Hisense water level sensor.
- Reassemble and test: Refit all hoses securely, ensuring no leaks. Run a test cycle and monitor fill level. If E7 persists, the main PCB may be at fault and should be checked by a technician.
