Washer-dryer does not dry clothes effectively; clothes come out damp and cool

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before internal cleaning.

• Reduce load size: Dry only up to the specified drying capacity (often about half the wash capacity). Overloading severely reduces drying efficiency.
• Clean lint filter: Remove and clean the lint filter after every drying cycle.
• Clean condenser: If your Hisense combo has a removable condenser, rinse it thoroughly to remove lint and scale.
• Check air circulation: Ensure the unit has adequate clearance around it and that vents are not blocked.
• Advanced heater check: If airflow is good but drying remains poor, the dryer heater may be weak or partially failed and should be tested and replaced if necessary.
