Washer-dryer has a strong musty or moldy odor inside the drum

Safety first: Use appropriate cleaning agents and avoid mixing chemicals (e.g., bleach and vinegar).

• Clean gasket: Wipe the door gasket thoroughly with a cloth and a mild bleach solution. Pay attention to folds where water collects.
• Run drum clean cycle: If your Hisense combo has a tub clean program, run it with a washing machine cleaner or a cup of washing soda (follow product instructions).
• Clean dispenser drawer: Remove the detergent drawer and scrub away mold and residue. Clean the housing as well.
• Clean pump filter: Remove and clean the drain pump filter to prevent stagnant water.
• Vent after use: Leave the door and dispenser slightly open between cycles to allow drying and reduce odor.
