Washer-dryer leaves detergent or softener residue in the drawer or on clothes

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before removing the dispenser drawer for deep cleaning.

• Remove and clean drawer: Pull out the detergent drawer, press the release tab, and remove it. Soak and scrub away residue.
• Clean housing: Use a brush to clean the dispenser housing and water jets.
• Check water pressure: Ensure adequate water flow to the dispenser as described for fill errors.
• Use correct detergent: Use HE detergent and the recommended dose. Avoid thick, undiluted softeners; dilute them with water.
