Washer-dryer shows E07 and may not spin or may stop mid-cycle; sometimes associated with door lock issues

Safety: Disconnect power before removing any panels or touching wiring.

• Reset the machine: Unplug for 10 minutes to clear any temporary logic fault, then reconnect and try a short cycle.
• Check door lock operation: Start a cycle and listen for the door lock click (with the machine reassembled and safe). If the door lock is noisy, intermittent, or fails to lock every time, suspect the interlock.
• Inspect wiring: Remove the front gasket clamp and access the door lock. Check the harness for loose connections, corrosion, or broken wires. Reseat the connector.
• Test door lock: With power off, test continuity across the lock terminals according to a Hoover wiring diagram. Replace the door interlock if readings are out of spec.
• Software update (if applicable): Some Hoover models may require a firmware update to resolve recurring E07. This can only be done by an authorized service center.
• PCB replacement: If a new door lock and wiring are confirmed good, the main PCB may be misinterpreting signals. Professional diagnosis and PCB replacement are recommended.
