How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and follow label instructions. Keep children and pets away.

  • Run maintenance wash: Run an empty 90°C cotton cycle with a proprietary washing machine cleaner or 1–2 cups of white vinegar (if permitted by Hoover guidelines).
  • Clean door gasket: Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth and mild detergent. Remove visible mould and debris.
  • Clean detergent drawer: Remove the drawer and scrub away residue. Clean the housing and dispenser jets.
  • Leave door open: After each use, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow drying and prevent odours.
