Dryer cycle runs but clothes remain damp or take very long to dry.

Safety: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning dryer components.

• Clean lint filters:
  • Remove and clean any accessible lint filters in the door area or condenser section.
• Check condenser (if condenser-type dryer):
  • Remove the condenser unit (if user-removable) and rinse thoroughly under running water.
  • Allow to dry and refit.
• Inspect air ducts:
  • Remove rear or top panel and check dryer air channels for lint buildup.
  • Vacuum out debris carefully.
• Verify heater operation:
  • During a drying cycle, after a few minutes, carefully feel the door glass; it should become warm.
  • If not, test the dryer heater and thermostats as described for F14.
