How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool before cleaning dryer components.
- Clean lint filters:
- Remove and clean any accessible lint filters in the door area or condenser section.
- Check condenser (if condenser-type dryer):
- Remove the condenser unit (if user-removable) and rinse thoroughly under running water.
- Allow to dry and refit.
- Inspect air ducts:
- Remove rear or top panel and check dryer air channels for lint buildup.
- Vacuum out debris carefully.
- Verify heater operation:
- During a drying cycle, after a few minutes, carefully feel the door glass; it should become warm.
- If not, test the dryer heater and thermostats as described for F14.
