Display shows 'door' or door symbol; machine will not start or continues beeping with door-related message.

Safety: Ensure the machine is unplugged before adjusting the door lock assembly.

• Check for obstructions:
  • Remove any clothing trapped between the door glass and gasket.
  • Inspect the gasket for foreign objects.
• Close door firmly: Push the door until you hear a positive click. Do not slam.
• Inspect door catch and hinge:
  • Check that the plastic catch on the door is not cracked or loose.
  • Ensure the door is aligned and not sagging; tighten hinge screws if needed.
• If message persists:
  • Access the door lock as described for F17.
  • Check wiring and replace the door lock assembly if it fails continuity tests.
