Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power and turn off water supply.
F04 indicates the control thinks the tub is overfilled or the pressure switch is stuck in the full position.
- Drain the tub:
- Use the emergency drain hose or remove the pump filter to drain water into a shallow tray.
- Clean pressure chamber and hose:
- Locate the small rubber hose running from the bottom side of the tub (air trap) to the pressure switch near the top side panel.
- Remove the hose from both ends.
- Blow through it; it should be clear. If blocked, rinse and clear any soap scum or lint.
- Check the air trap on the tub for sludge buildup and clean thoroughly.
- Check pressure switch operation:
- With the hose removed, gently blow into the pressure switch port; you should hear 1–3 distinct clicks.
- If no clicks or if it rattles loosely, replace the pressure switch.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure the pressure switch connector is firmly seated and wires are intact up to the control board.
If the error persists after cleaning and checking, the pressure switch or control board may need replacement.
