Safety: Do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker without finding the cause. Unplug the appliance before testing.

Isolate when it trips:
- Note at which stage (fill, heat, spin, dry) the trip occurs to narrow down the suspect component.
Test heater to earth:
- Disconnect heater wires.
- Measure resistance between each terminal and earth; any continuity indicates a fault.
Inspect motor and wiring:
- Check for chafed wires touching the metal cabinet.
- Test motor windings to earth for leakage.
Check mains filter: Inspect for cracks or burning; replace if suspect.
If you are not experienced with electrical testing: Contact a qualified technician; this fault can be hazardous.
