Possible Causes
Stuck dryer heater relay on PCB, Overheat event triggering safety lockout, Faulty main control board, Shorted dryer heater
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance. Do not attempt to run the dryer if overheating is suspected.
- Allow full cool-down: Leave the machine unplugged for at least 30 minutes to allow thermostats to reset.
- Clean airflow path: Remove lint from the dryer duct, fan, and condenser (if fitted). Blocked airflow can cause repeated overheating.
- Check heater and thermostats: As with F14, test the heater and safety thermostats. Replace any failed components.
- Inspect PCB: Look for a welded or burnt dryer relay on the main control board. If damaged, replace the PCB.
