Open-circuit drain pump motor, broken wiring to pump, faulty pump connector, failed pump triac/driver on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the appliance and prepare for water spillage.
- Check pump filter and impeller: As in F05, clean the filter and ensure the impeller is free to turn.
- Electrical test of pump: Disconnect the pump connector and measure resistance across the pump terminals. An infinite reading indicates an open pump coil; replace the pump.
- Check wiring: Inspect the harness from the pump to the control board for breaks, especially where it passes near sharp edges or moves with the tub.
- Control board driver: If pump and wiring are good but the pump never receives voltage during drain, the pump driver circuit on the PCB may be faulty. Replace the main control board.
