Possible Causes
Closed or low-pressure water supply, blocked inlet hose filter, faulty water inlet valve, kinked inlet hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off water supply and unplug before disconnecting hoses.
- Check taps: Ensure the water tap feeding the washer-dryer is fully open and water pressure is adequate.
- Clean inlet filters: Turn off the tap, disconnect the inlet hose from the machine, and remove the small mesh filter in the valve. Rinse under running water to remove grit.
- Inspect hose: Check for kinks or crushing along the hose length. Replace if damaged.
- Test inlet valve: With the machine unplugged, inspect the valve coil connectors. If you have a multimeter, measure coil resistance (typically 2–5 kΩ). An open coil indicates a failed valve that must be replaced.
