Indesit Overfilling / Water Level Control Failure

Washer-dryer overfills with water or water level is too high in the drum.

Possible Causes

Blocked pressure switch hose, faulty pressure switch contacts, sticking water inlet valve, control board not closing valve

Safety: If overfilling occurs, switch off power and close the water tap immediately.

Check pressure system: Follow F04/F10 steps to clean and inspect the pressure hose and switch.
Test inlet valve: With the machine unplugged and water tap open, see if water continues to flow into the drum. If so, the valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
Control board: If the valve only overfills when powered, but tests fine mechanically, the control board may be energising it incorrectly and require replacement.
