Possible Causes
Stuck water inlet valve, blocked drain system, faulty pressure switch, siphoning due to improper drain hose installation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off both hot and cold water supply valves.
- Check water level: If the tub is overfilled, manually bail out water and run a drain cycle after clearing the drain filter and hose as described for F02.
- Inspect inlet valves: With water supply off, remove the top panel and locate the water inlet valve assembly. Disconnect hoses and check inlet screens for debris. Clean screens with a soft brush; do not puncture them.
- Check for valve sticking: After reassembly, turn water back on while the unit is unplugged. If water continues to flow into the tub with power off, the inlet valve is mechanically stuck open and must be replaced.
- Verify drain hose installation: Ensure the drain hose is not inserted too far into the standpipe and that the standpipe height meets installation specs (usually 30–96 inches). Incorrect installation can cause siphoning and overfill errors.
- Inspect pressure switch and hose: As with F05, check the pressure hose for blockages and the switch for proper operation.
