Possible Causes
Loose wiring harness between control boards, oxidized connectors, failing main control board, failing motor control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing any panels.
- Access control boards: Remove the top panel. Locate the main control board (CCU) and, if present, the motor control board (MCU) near the base or rear.
- Reseat connectors: One by one, unplug and firmly reinsert each wiring connector between the CCU, MCU, and user interface board. Look for bent pins or corrosion.
- Inspect harness: Check the harness for pinched or broken wires, especially where it passes through metal brackets or near the drum.
- Check for vibration damage: If the unit vibrates excessively, it can loosen connectors. Address any suspension issues (springs, shocks) if you see signs of rubbing or stretched wires.
- Board replacement: If F11 persists after reseating and inspecting wiring, one of the boards (usually the CCU) may need replacement. Follow ESD precautions and transfer connectors one at a time.
