Possible Causes
Load not distributed evenly, too few items in drum, worn suspension springs or shock absorbers, out-of-level installation
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep hands clear of the drum while it is moving. Unplug the unit before adjusting leveling feet.
- Redistribute load: Open the door when safe and redistribute clothes evenly around the drum. Avoid washing a single heavy item alone.
- Check machine level: Use a bubble level on the top of the unit. Adjust the front and rear leveling feet until the washer-dryer is stable and does not rock.
- Inspect suspension: If UE occurs frequently with normal loads, inspect the suspension springs and shock absorbers for leaks, broken mounts, or excessive play. Replace worn components.
