Possible Causes
Stuck water inlet valve, faulty pressure switch, blocked pressure hose, control board sensing error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and shut off water supply immediately if overfilling occurs.
- Check water inlet valves: Turn off water taps and remove the hoses from the back of the machine. Inspect inlet screens for debris and clean them. With power disconnected, check the valve coils for proper resistance (per service specs). Replace the valve assembly if a coil is open or if the valve leaks when de-energized.
- Inspect pressure system: Access the pressure switch and hose at the top of the cabinet. Ensure the hose is firmly attached, not cracked, and free of soap residue. Clean or replace as needed.
- Test pressure switch: Use a multimeter to verify that the switch changes state when gentle air pressure is applied. Replace if it does not respond correctly.
- Control reset: After repairs, disconnect power for 5 minutes to reset the control. Restore power and run a small load to verify correct fill levels.
