How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the washer-dryer. Avoid forcing the door.

Manual release: Access the lock area and use the manual release tab to open the door if stuck closed.
Inspect lock for debris: Check for foreign objects in the latch opening that could jam the lock. Remove any obstructions.
Test lock actuator: Remove the lock assembly and test the actuator coil for continuity. Replace the lock if the coil is open or if the mechanism is physically damaged.
Check harness: Verify the wiring from the lock to the control is intact and firmly connected.
Control check: If a new lock does not resolve F29, the main control output to the lock may be faulty and require replacement.

F29 appears; door may not lock or unlock correctly and cycle will not start.
