Possible Causes
Closed or low-pressure water supply, Blocked inlet hose filter, Defective water inlet valve, Faulty water level pressure sensor or hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and close the water tap before removing hoses.
- Check water supply: Ensure the wall tap feeding the Liebherr washer-dryer is fully open. Test water pressure by filling a bucket from the tap; weak flow indicates a plumbing issue.
- Clean inlet filters: Turn off the tap, unscrew the inlet hose from the back of the machine, and remove the small mesh filter from the valve with needle-nose pliers. Rinse under running water to remove limescale and debris, then reinstall.
- Inspect inlet hose: Check the hose for kinks, crushing, or internal blockage. Straighten or replace if necessary.
- Test inlet valve: With power disconnected, access the top or rear panel to reach the water inlet valve assembly. Check the coil resistance with a multimeter (compare to Liebherr service specs). If a coil is open or shorted, replace the water inlet valve assembly.
- Check pressure sensor and hose: Inspect the thin pressure hose from the tub to the pressure sensor for splits, kinks, or blockages. Clear any soap residue and ensure it is firmly connected. If the sensor does not switch when you gently blow into the hose (with the sensor removed and tested off the machine), replace the pressure sensor.
