Possible Causes
Blocked condenser, Dirty moisture sensor bars, Faulty moisture sensor wiring, Defective dryer control electronics
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before cleaning internal components.
- Clean condenser thoroughly: Remove the condenser unit (if user-removable) and rinse under running water until all lint is cleared. Allow to drain and dry before refitting.
- Clean moisture sensor bars: Inside the drum, locate the metal moisture sensor strips (usually near the door opening). Clean them with a soft cloth and a little white vinegar to remove detergent film that can insulate them.
- Inspect wiring: Access the wiring from the moisture sensors to the control board. Check for loose connectors or damaged wires and repair as needed.
- Control electronics: If cleaning and wiring checks do not resolve E09, the dryer control section on the main PCB may be faulty and should be tested and replaced by a technician.
