Possible Causes
Corrupted control board memory, Loose wiring between display and main PCB, Power surge damage, Faulty user interface board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains before accessing control panels.
- Power reset: Unplug the washer-dryer for at least 5–10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Reconnect and try again.
- Check connections: Remove the top panel and control panel to access the display board and main PCB. Inspect and reseat all ribbon cables and connectors between boards.
- Inspect for damage: Look for burn marks, swollen components, or corrosion on the control boards. If present, the board must be replaced.
- Board replacement: If E15 persists after reseating connectors, the main control board or user interface board is likely faulty. Replacement and programming (if required) should be done by a Liebherr-authorized technician.
