Possible Causes
Frequent low-temperature washes, Detergent and softener residue in tub, Blocked drain sump trapping water, Dirty door gasket
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug before cleaning internal parts.
- Clean door gasket: Wipe the gasket folds with a cloth and mild detergent. Remove any trapped debris.
- Run hot maintenance wash: Run an empty 90°C cycle with a washing machine cleaner or white vinegar (check Liebherr guidance) to kill bacteria and remove residues.
- Clean pump filter and sump: Remove the pump filter and clean thoroughly. If accessible, flush the sump hose from tub to pump.
- Leave door open: After use, leave the door and detergent drawer slightly open to allow drying and prevent mold growth.
