Possible Causes
Defective water level pressure switch, Blocked air chamber on tub, Cracked or loose pressure hose, Faulty wiring between switch and PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and water before removing covers.
- Step 1 – Inspect pressure hose: Remove the top cover. Locate the pressure switch and its hose to the tub. Check for splits, kinks, or disconnections. Replace damaged hose.
- Step 2 – Clean air chamber: At the tub end, the hose connects to a small air chamber. Detach and clean out detergent residue or lint that can block pressure sensing.
- Step 3 – Test pressure switch: With the switch removed, gently blow into the hose port and listen for clicks while measuring continuity across the switch terminals. If switching is erratic or absent, replace the pressure switch.
- Step 4 – Wiring check: Inspect the harness from the switch to the PCB for damage. Repair any broken conductors or loose connectors.
- Step 5 – Re-test: Reassemble and run a rinse/spin cycle to confirm E14 is cleared.
