How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close water taps before removing hoses.
- Step 1 – Clean detergent drawer: Remove the drawer completely and wash under warm water. Clean the housing and water jets with a brush to remove detergent buildup.
- Step 2 – Check dispenser hoses: Remove the top cover and inspect the hoses from the inlet valve to the dispenser and from the dispenser to the tub. Straighten kinks and clear blockages.
- Step 3 – Test dispenser valve: Identify the solenoid valve controlling the dispenser. Test its coil for continuity with a multimeter. Replace the valve if open circuit.
- Step 4 – PCB output: If the valve is good but never energised, the control PCB may have a failed output. This typically requires board replacement.
