Possible Causes
Blown mains fuse in plug, Faulty mains power cord, Defective on/off power switch, Failed main control PCB power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure your hands are dry when working with plugs and sockets. Do not open live electrical components.
- Step 1 – Check outlet and fuse: Test the wall socket with another appliance. If OK, remove the Logik plug and inspect/replace the fuse with the correct rating (usually 13A in the UK).
- Step 2 – Inspect power cord: Look for cuts, burns, or crushed sections. If damaged, replace the entire cord set; do not tape over faults.
- Step 3 – On/off switch: If fitted with a physical power button, ensure it clicks positively. Access the switch from behind the control panel (appliance unplugged) and test continuity when pressed. Replace if faulty.
- Step 4 – Control PCB: If power is present at the PCB but no LEDs or display light, the low-voltage power supply on the board may have failed. Board replacement is usually required and should be done by a technician.
