Possible Causes
Torn or worn door gasket, Foreign object trapped in seal, Loose door seal retaining band, Excessive suds causing overflow
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and turn off water supply before inspecting leaks.
- Step 1 – Inspect door seal: Open the door and carefully examine the rubber gasket all around, especially the bottom. Look for tears, holes, or deformation.
- Step 2 – Remove debris: Clean out coins, hairpins, or lint trapped in the folds of the seal. Wipe the seal and door glass with a damp cloth.
- Step 3 – Check retaining band: Ensure the outer metal or plastic band holding the seal to the front panel is tight. Refit or replace if loose.
- Step 4 – Detergent use: Use only HE (high-efficiency) detergent and correct doses. Over-sudsing can cause leaks from the door.
- Step 5 – Replace gasket: If damaged, remove the front and inner retaining bands, pull off the old seal, and fit a new Logik-compatible door gasket, aligning the drain holes at the bottom.
