How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance before cleaning filters or hoses.
- Step 1 – Clean pump filter: Open the pump access flap and clean the filter thoroughly. Check the impeller for obstructions.
- Step 2 – Check load: Avoid single heavy items (e.g. one blanket). Add a few smaller items to balance the load and run a spin-only cycle.
- Step 3 – Inspect drain hose: Ensure the hose is not kinked or blocked. Clear any obstructions in the standpipe or sink trap.
- Step 4 – Pressure switch: If the machine thinks water remains in the tub, it may refuse to spin. Inspect and clean the pressure hose and air chamber. Replace the pressure switch if faulty.
