Possible Causes
Restricted exhaust vent, Lint buildup in internal ducts, Weak dryer heater, Faulty moisture sensor or thermistor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning ducts.
- 1. Clean lint filter: Remove and clean the lint filter before every load.
- 2. Check exhaust vent: Disconnect the vent hose and inspect for lint clogs or crushed sections. Clean or replace as needed.
- 3. Test airflow: Run a dry cycle briefly with the vent hose disconnected (venting into a safe area) to see if drying improves. If so, the external vent is restricted.
- 4. Inspect internal ducts: Remove rear panel and clean lint from blower housing and ducts.
- 5. If airflow is good but drying is still poor: Test the dryer heater, thermistor, and moisture sensor as described in related error sections and replace faulty parts.
