Washer-dryer combo displays E10 and will not start; control panel may be unresponsive or partially functional.

Safety first: Unplug the appliance before accessing the control panel. Avoid static discharge to electronic boards.

• 1. Power reset: Unplug the unit for at least 5 minutes to discharge capacitors, then plug back in and try again. Sometimes E10 is cleared by a full reset.
• 2. Inspect control panel for moisture: Look for condensation or detergent residue around the buttons and display. Allow the panel to dry completely if moisture is present.
• 3. Access the control boards: Remove the top panel and, if needed, the front console to reach the main PCB and UI board. Check the ribbon cable and harness connectors between them; reseat firmly.
• 4. Look for visible damage: Inspect both boards for burn marks, corrosion, or cracked solder joints. Replace any obviously damaged board.
• 5. If E10 persists: Replace the user interface board first (often the more common failure), then the main control board if necessary. Board replacement should match the exact Magic Chef model and revision.
