Washer-dryer combo displays E16; water may be detected in the base pan or unit may not operate.

Safety first: Unplug the unit and turn off water supply. Be prepared for water when tilting or opening panels.

• 1. Access base pan: Carefully tilt the unit back or remove the lower front panel to inspect the base. Look for standing water and the leak sensor or float switch.
• 2. Dry the base: Use towels or a wet/dry vacuum to remove all water from the base pan. Allow the area to dry completely.
• 3. Identify leak source: Inspect hoses from the tub to the pump, the drain pump housing, inlet valve connections, and the door gasket for drips or mineral trails.
• 4. Tighten or replace components: Tighten hose clamps, replace cracked hoses, and replace a leaking pump or tub seal as needed.
• 5. Check leak sensor: Ensure the float or sensor moves freely and its wiring is intact. Replace if corroded or stuck.
• 6. Test operation: After repairs and drying, plug in the unit and run a short cycle while monitoring for leaks.
