How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the unit before accessing the blower or fan motor.

1. Listen for fan operation: During a dry cycle, the fan should produce a steady airflow sound. If silent or grinding, proceed to inspection.
2. Access blower assembly: Remove the rear panel and locate the blower housing connected to the exhaust duct.
3. Inspect blower wheel: Remove the housing cover and check for lint clogs, socks, or debris. Ensure the wheel is firmly attached to the motor shaft and not cracked.
4. Test fan motor: With the motor disconnected, measure resistance across its terminals. An open circuit indicates a failed motor.
5. Replace faulty parts: Install a new blower wheel or fan motor as needed, ensuring correct orientation and secure mounting.
6. Reassemble and test: Refit the housing and rear panel, then run a dry cycle to confirm normal airflow and that E17 is cleared.
