How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the unit. If the drum is full of water, manually drain via the pump filter or drain hose before tipping or moving the machine.
Step-by-step checks (pressure system focus):
- 1. Locate pressure switch: Remove the top panel. The pressure switch is a round plastic device with a small rubber hose attached, usually mounted on the side frame or near the control board.
- 2. Inspect pressure hose: Check the small rubber hose from the tub/air dome to the pressure switch for cracks, kinks, or blockages. Remove it and blow through it; it should be clear.
- 3. Clean air dome: Where the hose connects to the tub, lint or soap scum can clog the air passage. Remove the hose at the tub and clean the fitting with a small brush or pipe cleaner.
- 4. Test pressure switch contacts: With the switch disconnected and using a multimeter, gently blow into the pressure port and listen for clicks. Check continuity between the switch terminals as it clicks; compare to a wiring diagram if available. If no change in continuity occurs, the switch is faulty.
- 5. Inspect NTC (if your tech sheet indicates F05 is temp-related): Follow the NTC test steps described for F03.
- 6. Replace faulty component: Install a new pressure switch or NTC as indicated by your tests, ensuring all hoses and connectors are secure.
Note: Incorrect water level sensing can cause overfilling or no fill; do not bypass the pressure switch.
