Possible Causes
Closed or kinked inlet hose, Blocked inlet filter at water valve, Defective Miele water inlet valve, Faulty water level pressure switch or hose
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the appliance from mains power and close the water tap before working on hoses or internal parts.
- Check water supply: Ensure the water tap feeding the washer-dryer is fully open and that household water pressure is adequate.
- Inspect inlet hose: Pull the unit forward slightly, verify the Miele inlet hose is not kinked, crushed, or frozen. Straighten or thaw as needed.
- Clean inlet filters: Turn off the tap, unscrew the hose from the rear water inlet valve. At the valve connection you will see a small mesh filter. Carefully pull it out with needle-nose pliers, rinse under running water, and reinstall.
- Check for debris at tap end: Some Miele hoses have a filter at the tap side as well. Remove and clean if present.
- Reset and test: Reconnect the hose, open the tap, restore power, and run a rinse or quick wash to test. If F10 returns, the inlet valve assembly or pressure switch may be defective and should be tested and replaced by a qualified technician.
