Possible Causes
Closed hot water tap (if connected), Blocked hot water inlet filter, Defective hot water inlet valve coil, Wiring fault to hot valve
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the appliance and close the hot water tap (if present).
- Verify hot supply: Ensure the hot water tap is open and hot water is available at nearby faucets.
- Inspect hot inlet hose: Check for kinks or crushing. Remove and clean the mesh filter at the machine's hot inlet connection.
- Check valve and wiring: Access the inlet valve block from the top. Identify the hot valve coil (refer to wiring diagram if available). Confirm connectors are tight and not heat-damaged.
- Test and replace: If the hot valve coil is open or shorted, replace the inlet valve assembly. If the valve tests good but F13 remains, the control board or temperature management may be at fault and should be checked by a technician.
